Greetings, everyone! I wanted to devote my initial blog post to welcoming you to my site and introducing you to my services. After years of teaching legal-studies courses to college students and advising aspiring law students, I decided to create a business to help students with all aspects of applying to and preparing for law school. There are so many things to consider, whenever a student decides he/she wants to attend law school. Preparing for and taking the LSAT. Applications. Resumes, recommendation letters, personal statements, and supplemental statements. Negotiating scholarships. Choosing a school. That's a lot! And when you've chosen a school, what now? How will you pay for school? How can you best prepare for your first semester? What can you do to equip yourself practical tools for success? Students have these and other questions on their minds, and often they feel they need some help. That's why I'm here. I'm here to help. I would not be in academia if I did not love students and truly care about their education and success; and I would not have created PRELAWCOACH if I did not sincerely want to help future law students. Students have many options for LSAT prep. They have options for pre-law advising and law-school preparedness. Often, the many options can be overwhelming. I created this venture to give students one place where they can get all of these services and get them at reasonable prices. For so many students, obtaining pre-law services is a significant financial burden, so I wanted to create a business that offers pre-law services to students at prices much lower than they will find from many companies. Moreover, I want students to be able to obtain these services in ways that meet their needs, that meet their schedules. As such, I don't offer services on a one-size-fits-all basis. Every student is different, and I tailor my services to each student. My goal is not just to offer sound, quality advice and coaching but also to do so in a way that is appropriate for each student. My services are available to individuals and to groups, and services are available via a range of mediums (e.g. in person, via phone, via video chat), depending on the person/group. LSAT prep, subject-matter prep, & law-school-prepardness coaching are offered at an hourly rate, while admission/applications advising is offered at a la carte prices (with discounts available for multiple services). If you're interested in learning more, please contact me. If I'm not the right fit for you, my hope is you will find a person who is. Thank you for taking the time to read this post; and regardless of whether you retain my services, I wish you the absolute best in your law-school journey!
