TESTIMONIALS
"I cannot thank you enough for your weekend course, I did not realize at the time the amount of mental stability and strength I brought from just having information of law school and really prepping for the mental game of it as well as the academic. Our first civ pro homework was the federal and state court system breakdown, and when I tell you how big I smiled, because I already felt ahead! That confidence was soo helpful to keep me strong through the quarter. It made your weekend even more worth every cent and hour. So thank you and keep teaching."
"Whether you know very little about the law school experience (like I did) or have family members that have flooded you with information, I cannot recommend Drew’s Law School Savvy summer seminar enough for incoming law students. My anxiety about going to law school was definitely reaching a high point the summer before my fall semester, and the weekend seminar provided me with some much needed comfort and encouragement. Plus, Drew is an incredibly kind, generous, and genuine person, and you can’t help but be motivated by his enthusiasm. I learned a great deal in that short weekend, and it made a big difference in my first semester of law school. I remember feeling like I was doing something wrong because I didn’t find myself struggling to keep up with the pace of school like my peers were. Then, I realized it was just because I was more prepared coming into law school and that was largely because of Drew’s seminar. I am so grateful for Drew for holding this seminar and thankful that Randall encouraged his students to attend. Thank you, Drew!"
"Law School Savvy is an invaluable resource. As someone who was completely unfamiliar with most things law school, Drew really walked through everything and made school feel more approachable. From learning how to brief cases, to the general background and framework of what law school is like, this course was so helpful. I think I started school more prepared than many of my peers solely because of LSS!"
"Taking this course is incredibly informative and practical. It takes a lot of the edge off the first year learning curve and puts the ball completely in your court.”
"I constantly find myself repeating nuggets of wisdom from the seminar to friends/family/colleagues. Keep Drew teaching cause he's a badass and helpful resource/confidant."
"The portion on briefing cases made the transition a lot easier. Having a general idea of what the reading would look like and what a brief should contain was great. Overall, much of what was discussed in the seminar came to fruition in law school."
"I think Drew is one of the best people you could have gotten to lead this thing. We practiced briefing (clutch move!) and I was super pumped when we got it during the first few weeks of contracts. I knew exactly what was going on, and I feel like I adjusted more quickly as a result."
"The seminar was so beneficial! Even after the first day I was telling my parents how the $ was beyond worth it! I know I was prepared for literally everything they threw at me during my first semester. Hate to admit it, but I loved watching my section freak out when I was coasting. I made the top 25% fall semester and have a GPA that will make me a contender for top 10% when they release those names. I believe part of my success stems from my participation in your seminar.”
"I found the course to be incredibly helpful and stress relieving. I know that the look into 1L life you've given me will be incredibly beneficial."
"I GREATLY benefited from taking your seminar last year. I would highly recommend it to all your incoming 1Ls. No one else in my class had such an opportunity, so I was ahead of the curve. Also, hearing the structure of Civ Pro really helped me get ahead of the rest of my section in that class. I am now a Civ Pro genius. It's by far my favorite class."
